I have a postdoctoral position available in my lab (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/principles-of-biomolecular-systems/). The position is available immediately, and I would like someone to start ASAP (ideally by March 2024); funding initially runs until Sept 2025. The project is undertaken with a view to applying for further funding based on preliminary results.

The role will involve building novel DNA strand displacement networks that implement molecular templating, synthetic analogs of transcription and translation. The position would be particularly suitable for people with a background in experimental nucleic acid nanotechnology, but anyone with a background doing experimental chemistry or molecular biology is encouraged to apply.

I will be accepting applications until the post is filled. However, all applications submitted before the end of 15th November will be considered together as a gathered field.

For more information, and to see how to apply, please refer to the official listing here: https://www.imperial.ac.uk/jobs/description/ENG02819/research-associate.

Any questions, please contact me at t.ouldridge@imperial.ac.uk.

Best Regards,

Tom
