Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at Hamada Lab, Institute of Science Tokyo (Molecular Robotics)
The Hamada Laboratory at the Institute of Science Tokyo is recruiting for a Specially Appointed (Project) Assistant Professor position.
The successful candidate will conduct research in molecular robotics together with Prof. Hamada, contributing to the newly launched MEXT Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A), “Molecular Robot Explorers,” and other ongoing projects. The lab works on DNA nanotechnology, DNA hydrogels, and hybrid molecular systems, within an internationally connected research environment.
Key points:
• Language: Japanese language ability is not required. The research environment and meetings will be conducted in English.
• Start Date: October 1, 2026 (negotiable to accommodate relocation/visa procedures).
